Locking in a group rate discount is a great way to see Antarctica! We've locked in some great rates for you, so let's see what's included!
You can read more about the itinerary here, but you'll also notice that our prices are much lower than what's being offered directly :) You can also read this article about my time on board with Atlas (I've been with them to Arctic and Antarctica) or more details about the ship to see the different room category options.
Prices are per person in a dual share room. Let me know if you're solo and would like solo prices or to be paired.

Walkup Balcony (A category): $9790

They'll get you to/from the airport, and fly you down and back!
It's an early flight to Ushuaia, so included hotel in Buenos Aires the night before the trip.
You get to keep this green parka! It has a black puffer jacket inside, lots of pockets, and is wind and water proof.
The experts on board will tell you alllll about the history, animals, and ice you're seeing!
Including Alcohol!
All food and drinks are included. This even includes room service and alcohol! There are some "higher level" foods and alcohol you can pay for though if you want, but you definitely don't need to.
Made by me, Carly, your travel agent! I specialize in Antarctica, so made a companion Journal to make the most of your trip!
Already rolled into the price!
Already included!
Weather permitting
You have the opportunity to get off the ship twice a day, weather permitting!
Totally Optional :D
If you want to plunge into the polar waters, no one will stop you :D
Check out Atlas's site for more specifics.
This is an arrival day. The hotel this night is included, so you can arrive at any time on this day or earlier. I do recommend earlier if you can!
Atlas will take you to the airport early in the morning, fly you to Ushuaia, pick you up from the airport, take you on a lovely tour through Tierra del Fuego, have lunch, drop you off in Ushuaia for a wander.... and then time to board! Departs in the evening for an evening cruise through the Beagle Channel!
Drake Passage Days!
This is when you'll have bio-security (checking your clothes to make sure no seeds or anything), getting fitted for equipment, learning about excursions like kayaking and camping, and informational presentations!
Don't worry, the Drake isn't usually that bad. I've crossed 10 times and never had a "crazy" crossing :)
Expedition Days are basically breakfast, morning excursion, lunch while ship moves to new place, afternoon excursion, and dinner. Def time for naps or chilling in there too.
You might have a landing or a zodiac cruise, but hopefully you'll see penguins, whales, and seals!
Drake Days on the way back will have more info presentations and activities. Also packing :(
Maybe spend some time outside and see the last of the Drake birds and icebergs. Maybe even a wandering albatross!
Departure Day!
The ship usually docks sometime in the night, so you'll wake up at port! You disembark in the morning, they'll take you to the airport and fly you back to Buenos Aires! Some people immediately fly home, and some people stay in Ushuaia or Buenos Aires to extend the trip.
Deposit
The deposit is $1000. After that, money follows the cancellation schedule of a $250 fee for anything cancelled before July 31, 2026. A fee of 25% for anything cancelled by August 29, 2026. A fee of 50% for anything cancelled by Sept 14, 2026. And a fee of 75% for anything cancelled by Oct 24, 2026 . No refunds after that point, it would have to be handled by travel insurance.
Payments
After deposit, the payments are up to you! You can wait until full payment is due on July 31, 2026. Or you can chunk it every few months. Or can do a monthly payment. Very flexible. Payments are collected by Atlas and remain with Atlas, so again your money is safe!
Kayaking is offered at $250, and I highly recommend it! I did it if you want to read about my experience.
Camping is also an offering for them at $750! I’ve also done camping, if you’d like to read about that. But keep in mind my experience was in a tent, and Atlas does bivvy sacs.
